Brian Johnson (June 29, 1939 - June 15, 2026) 🔗Wikipedia), was a phenomenal sci-fi visual effects artist who deserves recognition for his contributions to many of the greatest sci-fi films of the 20th century. He worked on several Gerry Anderson productions like _Supercar_ and _Thunderbirds_ until he got poached by Stanley Kubrick to work on _2001: A Space Odyssey_. He was special effects supervisor on _The Empire Strikes Back_ and _Alien_.
