this was my last year doing igcses (year 12) so that means if I’m not mistaken that I missed out on so many opportunities and activities that I could have done before in school because yes I’ll go to university of course (its not that bad) but its ESLSCA (the egypt branch too) which I think is not as prestigious as going abroad for a bachelors or going to the AUC in egypt
basically is it over for me given I’m going to a less prestigious university I think like well yes its an european (French) uni and all that but still I wanted to go to the AUC because of the stuff they offer like I think the competitions and stuff plus the prestige
my grades too I think are average its like 1 As 2 Bs and ig 2 or 3 Cs that kind of thing basically grades like mixed up which is what also worries me if you for example won’t be seen as that strong acedemically

i hope you’re not planning on studying or writing english at uni because you really need to work on writing proper sentences and using punctuation

Prestige is meaningless. What matters is (relevant) knowledge and experience. Any university, assuming it's not just a degree mill, will be able to get you what's actually important.
It's like Klingons and honour. Only the ones you don't want to be around care about prestige enough to let it influence their (hiring) decisions.

No. I think the whole university landscape will be different in the future. Employers have to realise that thia "study abroad" elitism is going to come crashing down.
And in the mean time, screw organisations that prioritise foreign unis over domestic unis in hiring. World would be so much better if i wasn't competing against the rest of the world for university places or jobs in my own tiny country. (No offense to the international students of course.)
Studying in your home country gives you an advantage in enjoying life, getting work alongside uni and being able to navigate all the little things. I hope you enjoy it.
Edited because i failed to read closely enough at first.
