I am trying to Quit my "Listening addiction"(e.g podcasts, YouTube vids, Creepypasta). It started when my family moved away and I was alone in a really big house for a couple of months, so I would have Earphones on with something turned on, at all times. Now its become such I a problem that I can't get anything done without something blaring in my ear at all time(never mind what this well do to my hearing in the long run)
Most task, like cleaning or grocery shopping dont need my focus, but then there is studying and work.
I know that, really, I would eventually have to give up my earphones at some point, but I wanted to start by replacing what listened to, with white Noise or brown noise
For
example
Most of the searches for background noise on YouTube, bring up rain sounds and I just dont like the sound. Actual rain droplets make my skin crawl. Anyone got other recommendations?
P.S: I did delete my YouTube and podcast apps, so I can only listen to them on the Computer. I can listen to white noise from the mobile browser.

Absolutely, 100% recommend using this site. I've been using it for background noise for at least ten years now. Has everything you'd expect (rain, surf, flames crackling, white/brown noise) and then some (cats purring, airport, laundromat), all without having to listen to a "break" between tracks. You can even change the volume of individual parts of the track.

Adjacent?
Somebody else mentioned MyNoise.net, and I will also recommend that site; lots of different types of sound profiles to choose from and adjust to your needs.

If free or YouTube-only is not a prerequisite, Better Sleep lets you create your own mixes of various sounds.

I like brown noise. I want deeper but have yet to find anything.

Try looking into binaural beats. It's not just white noise but an adjustable auditory effect that promotes various states of mind.
I use
this one. Apparently it has ads but I use a private dns so I don't see them.
If you prefer open source there is
this which has some useful presets but isn't really customizable.

I've found the "bird feeder", "backyard for your cat", "yule log" or "fireplace" searches on youtube result in some sound that isn't offensive to me and there are videos longer than an entire day for some of them.
I don't know of any sources other than youtube but perhaps there's something on soundcloud as well.

(I think qualifies more as brown noise than white noise)

I love this site so much. I've been a monthly supporter for a couple years now I think. Browsing and fiddling with the different generators is great (I use the Flying Fortress one for traffic noise and the Speech Blocker setting on the white noise one for coworkers), and creator's blog posts are lovely.
