What was your very first console?

I still remember my very first handheld!
For me, it was a Game Boy, and I was completely hooked on Pokémon and Kirby.
What was your first console, and what game did you play on it?

For me, it was Pokémon Yellow. I spent hours walking along the same routes, catching rare Pokémon, and earning all 8 badges

I'm curious to see who started with a NES or SNES, or maybe jumped straight into the PS2/PS3 era
