So yeah… Mastanet is a new Dutch gaming site and has just gone live.
The last time I built a website was over 12 years ago, so you can basically see this as a comeback… with a bit of rust still on it 😛

Let me admit something right away before someone else does:
yes, the base layout was made with AI 🤣
Not because I’m lazy, but because I wanted something working first. Everything else (code, fixes, security, content) I do myself. And no, AI doesn’t fix bugs at 3 AM.

I also know there are way better gaming sites out there, like:
🔗Gamekings
🔗IGN Netherlands

Those are teams, editors, designers, budgets…
I’m just one guy with a gaming site and too many ideas 😄

My focus right now is mainly on:
fast loading times, simple navigation, game news, free games, arcade games, and a bit of community.
The design will stay as it is — improvements happen behind the scenes.

Is it perfect? No.
Is it finished? Also no.
Will it get better? Hopefully yes, if people use it and give feedback (or laugh at it).

So yeah… feel free to share what you think.
