EA's new Iron Man game has appeared online after unfinished gameplay footage leaked, and EA has now said that the video is real. The footage comes from a game that is still in development, so don't expect everything you see to be final.
The video gives us our first proper look at the game in action. Iron Man can be seen flying through a city, fighting enemies and using different abilities from his suit. We also get a look at some of the game's combat and suit customization.
EA Motive has been working on the game for several years. Marvel's Iron Man was first announced back in 2022, but EA has shared very little about the project since then.
The leaked video is around two and a half minutes long and clearly shows an unfinished version of the game. Some parts still look rough, which isn't surprising considering the game is still being worked on.
The quality of the leaked video isn't great either. There is also a username visible on the screen, along with a date showing August 26. This appears to be footage from an earlier development build rather than a finished version of the game.
EA has since responded to the leak through the official Marvel's Iron Man account. The team says that the leak wasn't part of the plan, but also hints that there is still a lot more to show when the time is right.
EA's response
Here's the official post from the Marvel's Iron Man team:
There is still no release date for Marvel's Iron Man. For now, this gives us our first proper look at the game, while EA Motive continues to work on it.
Update: We have removed the leaked video from this page. The video was shared without EA's permission, and we don't want to help distribute unauthorized material. We still wanted to report on the leak, which is why we've kept the information and EA's own response below.
