Rockstar Releases 26 Minutes of New GTA 6 Gameplay on YouTube
Rockstar Games has released its extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI on YouTube and its official website, giving players free access to more than 26 minutes of new gameplay footage.
The presentation was initially made available through Netflix before Rockstar brought it to a wider audience online. It is now available directly from Rockstar Games' official website, as well as through the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel.
Rather than another short trailer, the Extended Look provides a considerably longer look at the game itself. The footage follows protagonists Jason and Lucia and showcases more of Leonida, the fictional state that serves as GTA 6's setting.
Rockstar has confirmed that the footage was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5. The presentation gives viewers a closer look at the game's open world, characters and various activities, while also offering more context around the lives of Jason and Lucia.
GTA 6 is still set for November 2026
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced a PC version at this time, meaning there is currently no confirmed Steam release either.
That also makes the new footage particularly relevant for players who are following the game ahead of launch. While the Extended Look does not provide a PC release announcement, it offers one of the longest official looks yet at what Rockstar is preparing for its next Grand Theft Auto.
