LEGO Skylines Announced for PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2
LEGO Skylines has been officially announced by Paradox Interactive and Iceflake Studios, bringing the LEGO universe to a new city-building game. Players will be able to build, customise and manage their own living LEGO metropolis.
A city builder with a LEGO twist
LEGO Skylines is designed to be approachable for casual players while still offering plenty of depth for those who want to get into the details. You can spend a few minutes building something new or lose hours fine-tuning your city.
Despite the name, LEGO Skylines is not a LEGO version of Cities: Skylines. Instead, it is a new city-building game from Iceflake Studios that puts its own LEGO spin on the genre, with a strong focus on creativity and customisation.
There are no fixed instructions to follow. Instead, LEGO Skylines is all about creativity and freedom, letting players build huge cities or focus on the smallest details. How the city looks and develops is entirely up to the player.
Build your own LEGO city
LEGO Skylines puts players in charge of building and managing their own city. The game combines familiar city-building mechanics with the creativity and customisation you'd expect from LEGO.
Players will need to manage essential services such as electricity, food and water, while also providing homes, jobs, parks and other facilities for their citizens.
A wide range of buildings, decorations and other customisation options will let players give their city its own unique look. Whether you want to build a carefully planned metropolis or something a little more unusual, the choice is yours.
Managing your LEGO metropolis
Keeping your city running will involve more than simply placing buildings. You'll also need to manage hospitals, garbage collection, sewage and other systems that keep your LEGO citizens happy.
Of course, there's also plenty of room to get creative. You can build a traditional city, experiment with unusual layouts or simply see what happens when you let your imagination run wild.

LEGO Skylines on PC and consoles

The game will support single-player gameplay and is being presented as a customisable sandbox city builder. Steam currently lists the system requirements as TBD, so the final PC requirements have not been announced yet.
